AT&T Data Breach

AT&T has finally admitted to a massive data breach impacting 73 million current and former customers. The telecom giant initially denied the leak, which included names, addresses, phone numbers, and sensitive information like Social Security numbers. While AT&T claims no signs of a system breach, security experts are skeptical and warn of severe risks from the exposed data. The company is offering credit monitoring and faces potential legal consequences. Want to know more? Read on!

Here are three possible steps to take:

#1 Monitor Your Accounts: Keep a close eye on your email, phone, and other accounts that may have been compromised in the breach. Look out for suspicious activity or unauthorized changes.

#2 Change Your Passwords: If you're an AT&T customer and haven't already, change your account passwords. Use strong, unique passwords for each account and consider using a password manager.

#3 Enable Multi-Factor Authentication: Turn on multi-factor authentication for your online accounts, including email and financial institutions. This adds an extra layer of security beyond just a password.
